Could Private Jets In Europe Actually Help Climate Change?

There are currently 4,000 business aircraft registered on the continent.

Private aviation has become an easy target for climate change activists, due, in part, to its association with high-net-worth individuals. Holger Krahmer, the new leader of the European Business Aviation Association, is making the case that the industry’s commitment to decarbonization should be recognized—and argues that regulators need to understand the ways in which private aviation is different from commercial flying. He spoke to BJT's sister publication Aviation International News at the European Business Aviation Convention and Exhibition in Geneva, Switzerland.
