10 of New York’s Best International Restaurants

New York has some of the world's best international restaurants. Here are 10 we love, featuring such cuisines as Dominican, Israeli, and Greek.

1. Omakase Room by Mitsu (Japanese). This tiny Greenwich Village basement eatery with a 10-seat counter, presided over by chef Mitsunori Isoda, offers creative and mouthwatering omakase.

2. Avra Rockefeller Center (Greek). Dine in one of three glass-walled dining rooms overlooking Radio City Music Hall, pick from the fresh catch on display, and pay by the pound.

7. Café Mish Mosh (Lebanese). This contemporary hotspot in the Bowery does delicious twists on Lebanese classics best for sharing, including mezzes with just-out-of-the-oven pita bread. 

8. Little Thai Kitchen (Thai). This Eastside midtown eatery has just reopened in a larger space with perennial favorites such as crispy shrimp cake (shrimp fritters with homemade sweet chili sauce) and massaman curry. 

9. Lulla (Italian-American). A Chelsea hideaway with one of the city’s most unusual art walls, Lulla serves sustainable local fare such as hand-cut fettuccine and an Impossible Burger with caramelized onion, violife cheddar, and roasted tomato.

10. Katherine Meets Toni (Korean-Italian-American). This romantic bar/resto in midtown on the West Side offers Japanese-inspired cocktails and fare from Wagyu to tagliatelle al limone.
